How is a "word" defined?
A word is any run of non-whitespace characters. Text is split on spaces, tabs and line breaks.
How is reading time estimated?
Reading time assumes an average reading speed of about 200 words per minute, rounded up to the nearest minute.
Is there a length limit?
For performance, very large inputs are capped at 100,000 characters. That is more than enough for articles and documents.
